I have wanted to make a menu board for quite a while now, just to keep from answering the question "What are we having for supper".  I didn't realize that a little work and preparation would simplify my weekly trip to the grocery store. I use different colors to seperate our favorite food categories (ex: yellow=soups, blue=italian/mexican, pink=holidays/special occasions). I list the ingredients needs to prepare and suggestions for side dishes on the back. This makes it so much easier to make out my weekly grocery list and there are no forgotten ingredients which usually leads to "experimental" cooking. My hubby is VERY grateful for that!!
